About the event
The next WAKR Iaido and Jodo Dan and Kyu Shinsa, with seminar, will be held on the weekend of 17th/18th January, 2026 at the Southern River College Gymnasium (Budokan Academy dojo).
Saturday will be a seminar for both Iaido and Jōdo (0900-1600). The dojo will open about 0800.
Sunday morning (0800-1200) will be Iaido training, with Shimpan training for Yondan and above. All students, when not doing their own practice, will take part as cannon fodder for the seniors. The dojo will open about 0730.
Sunday afternoon will be the Shinsa with registrations commencing at 1230. Iaido will be first, followed by Jodo.
Seminar
A Seminar Fee of $40 (seniors (>=18) up to and including 5th Dan). Juniors, under 18, will be $20. The Seminar Fee covers both days. There is not a single day fee.
